Winchester City Council has awarded Tichborne Parish Council with its "Local Hero Award" in recognition of its ongoing efforts during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Here is the citation and certificate.

Cllr Robert Raimes said on hearing news of the award.

"This is a reward not just for the Parish Council but for all those who live and work in our wonderful village.

Everyone has come together over the last few months in a spirit of friendship, compassion and a willingness to help out.

Well done to all our people."
